That's right, you heard it here- The Eagle High School football team is the Idaho State Champion!
We beat Capital High School 22-21. SERIOUSLY. Most epic play EVER. We got the touchdown, and then we scored two extra points for the run instead of the field goal. And we held the ball away from Capital for two and a half minutes! HAH.
Mmmmhm, we were the dark horse team- THAT'S RIGHT, we beat the scary returning champions! We got a shiny new cup for our cabinet, AND a nice new banner.
It was fun to watch the Capital supporters just EMPTY out of the stands. Once they lost, they were all out of there. They didn't want to stick around to see the winning team get their prize... the losers. Hah.
Sorry Capital... you were good.... JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH. >8D
E-A-G-L-E! GO FIGHT WIN!!!
And a fun story- as my friend and I were leaving the stadium, there's this group of Capital students. For kicks and giggles, I scream "GO EAGLE!!!" and proceeded to chant the fight song. Behind me, one of the Capital guys says, "I'm so glad you're a girl."
Meaning, if I was a guy, my face would have been clobbered.
I'd been indirectly threatened. It made me laugh.
The group I was hanging out with later told me that I should have walked up to him and said, "You wanna go?" And slap him. Because they [guys] can't do anything if I [a girl] slap them with my palm on the inside... now if it's a backhanded slap, then it's a different story. XD
Not fair. p:< Ditto. Just bored, though. Bothering random people on dA, because of said mentioned boredom. And .. I'm also trying to figure out what kinda keyblade to make for this con I'm going to.
